Description
Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin E; a moderate source of thiamine, folate and pantothenic acid. Sweet potato is similar to potato for the kilojoule count but contains more vitamins. Use as for potato - mashed, roasted, chipped or stewed. May also be pureed and added to cakes, scones, savoury soufflés. Store in a cool, dry, fairly dark place with good ventilation.Place of origin
