There’s a reason why this is in my mixed 6 (+1) and its because it takes Shiraz to a more palatable place for me. The structure of the cool climate Shiraz holds up whilst the barbera gives a juiciness that keeps on the savoury side. Great food wine for the carnivores amongst us.
