Description

Sage is best known for complementing pumpkin, pork, goose, duck and game. It is also a ingredient of missed herbs. It is also known to be a natural counter balance for rich and fatty foods – hence the common application to game like meats. To keep sage fresh, it should be kept immersed in cold water for use in about 1 week. Alternately, you can dry sage in an airy, shady place. The dried version can be kept a long time in an airtight container.
