Description

When a recipe calls for lemon grass, only the bottom 6-7cm of tender, creamy, lower stem should be used. The remaining green blades can be steeped in boiling water to make a refreshing drink. Lemon grass is an essentially ingredient in Thai kitchens - where combined with chilli it contributes to the fresh, light and hot characteristics of this cuisine. Add lemon grass to curries, steam or baked fish, chicken or in a cup of tea. Store immersed in cold water for up to 5 days.
